Over the past decade, our CEO has had the honor of serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ethio Telecom, where we embarked on a journey of transformation, growth, and recognition. A Decade of Telecom Excellence:
As CEO of Ethio Telecom, our CEO had the privilege of leading and managing a workforce of over 32,000 dedicated employees. Together, we successfully completed two national Telecom Expansion Projects with a total project value of 3.1 billion USD. Additionally, our CEO managed a 35 million Euro contract with prominent global players in the industry, such as France Telecom, Orange, and Sofrecom.
Awards and Recognitions:
Our commitment to excellence did not go unnoticed. Our CEO was honored to receive the "Best CEO of the Year" award during the African Telecom Leadership Awards in Mauritius in December 2015. This recognition highlighted our dedication to shaping the telecommunications landscape not only in Ethiopia but across the African continent.
Further accolades came in the form of the "CEO with HR Orientation" award, underscoring our emphasis on human resources and talent development. In 2017, our CEO was the proud recipient of the Socrates Award in the Economics and Business Category, presented by The Socrates Committee in Oxford, London. These awards, along with more than ten international accolades for Ethio Telecom, serve as a testament to our commitment to excellence.

In addition to our CEO's role at Ethio Telecom, they've had the privilege of serving as a board member in various government and private institutions. These roles have allowed our CEO to contribute to the broader development and growth of Ethiopia's educational and business landscape.
